What we collect, and what we do not.

Who this covers

This policy covers the Sounder website at sounderliq.app, its open API, and the Sounder apps for iOS and Android, which are shells around the same site. Sounder is operated by the Sounder team. Questions go to hello@sounderliq.app.

No accounts, no keys

Sounder has no sign-up and no user accounts. It never asks for, receives, stores or transmits a private key, seed phrase or password. When you fill an order, your own wallet signs the transaction; Sounder builds the call and hands it to the wallet, and the wallet sends it to the chain. Nothing between the reading and the signature is ours.

What the site reads

Every number on Sounder is read from public state on Robinhood Chain. When you type a ticker, a size or an address, that input is sent to our servers so the reading can be made, and the answer may be cached for up to a minute so the next visitor gets it faster. Inputs are not tied to you and are not kept beyond ordinary server logs.

If you connect a wallet, the site learns the public address you chose to share. It uses it to read balances and open orders and to build transactions for you to sign. It is not stored on our servers and not linked to any other data.

Quiet mode goes further: the order travels in a request body, nothing is written to the address bar, to storage or to any cache, and the answer is not kept.

What stays on your device

Small conveniences are kept in your browser or app storage only: the size you last used, the names on your watch list, whether the opening screen has played. They never reach us and you can clear them at any time by clearing site data.

Logs and hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host it records ordinary request logs, including IP address, user agent and the page requested, which are kept for a short period for operation and abuse prevention. We do not run advertising, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or third-party analytics.

The chain is public

Anything you sign is published to Robinhood Chain and is permanently and publicly visible there, as with any blockchain. That is a property of the chain, not of Sounder, and we cannot remove it.

Children

Sounder is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the change is noted in the changelog on the docs page.
